Key Features and Specifications
Range and Reliability - Indoor and Outdoor Monitoring: The host and transmitter provide excellent reception within 100 meters in an unobstructed environment. For indoor temperature detection, the range is -10°C to 60°C (32°F to 122°F). The outdoor sensor temperature receiving range extends from -40°C to 60°C (-40°F to 140°F). - Delayed Alarm: After the temperature alarm is activated, it will only trigger after 10 minutes (regardless of whether the temperature has already reached the alarm threshold).
Temperature Detection - Max/Min Temperature Data: The Max/Min temperature data updates every 24 hours. Note that the device does not continuously hold the max/min temperature. The product doesn’t support viewing all recorded previous temperatures. Quickly press the CLEAR button to remove the current Max/Min data and update with new readings. - Detection Cycles: The indoor temperature detection cycle is 10 seconds. The outdoor synchronous cycle for sensor 1 is 57 seconds, and for sensor 2, it is 67 seconds.
Alarm Function - Audible Alarm: You can manually set the maximum and minimum alarm values. The alarm will sound once the temperature reaches the preset limit. - Activation Delay: The alarm function does not activate for 10 minutes after the temperature alarm is turned on (regardless of the temperature at this point).
Ease of Use and Installation - Function Keys and Signal Indicator: The main unit has six function keys and a signal indicator on the transmitter. Use these to turn on/off the alarm, switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit. - Versatile Installation: The device features integrated magnets, a hanging hole, and a bracket at the back, allowing you to place it in a refrigerator door, hang it on a wall, or stand it on a table.
Maintenance and Installation Notes
- Battery Accuracy: Ensure the device is powered by a new battery for accuracy. If the screen doesn’t display content, check that the transmitter is properly connected to the host.
- Multiple Devices: If purchasing two sets, they may conflict with each other. Install one device first, then the second one securely after the first device is properly connected.
